I really liked todays essay and the portrait of Paloma is a true winner. Your memories of being on the sea so resonated with me as “looking at the horizon” has always been my mantra on a boat as I get terribly sea sick . Thanks so much!
Look to the horizon! Literally! I needed this today. This week, in addition to speaking my truth in a video about my ancestor Anne Hutchinson and the challenging origins of the U.S "story" that parallel what is happening now, I'm rebounding from a bout with medical trauma. Yesterday, I was activated in a medical procedure that went awry. Today I'm recovering after a day in bed. I will do some drawing, go outside for a walk, write, continue to steady myself and look to the horizon. Thank you Leslie.

Hi Leslie:
I liked your essay today. I felt a glimpse into you that I knew and didn’t know. A perfect welcome to the feel of the new season.

Thanks Peter, I am so glad you read it. I hope you are well.

Oh I am so glad, Cynthia. Very best to you healing, and it sounds like a great project-Anne Hutchinson! She is very interesting.
